First Impressions Part 3 (Nkhata Bay)

Nkhata Bay is a relaxing and affordable getaway that we have found gives us a bit of a taste of home.  We stayed at Butterfly Lodge, where we met two American Peace Corps Volunteers who are in Malawi for two years (they are half done).  Their names are Jay and Ross, it was Jay’s birthday and his sister had come to visit, which added to our growing group.  We quickly became friends with them and had an amazing weekend.  It’s strangely funny that whenever we meet new people from Canada, the US, or Europe, we tend to make quick friends – they either latch onto us, or we latch onto them.  Butterfly and Nkhata bay had some amazing sites and I am sure we will be back here soon.
